The Qigong workshop is one of Master Ting's most popular seminars. It lays the foundation for the Tai Chi form. Because it is so important to the foundational principles, he has split this workshop into smaller sections in order to give the student more time to practice and absorb each movement in detail. This workshop is a continuation of the February Qigong workshop and will pick up where he left off.

It is indisputable is that the correct practice of Qigong will enhance a student's practice and improve all the fundamentals necessary to achieve the maximum circulation of energy within. Through Qigong, we practice to accumulate, balance, and coordinate the flow of our life force, Qi, to maintain health and well-being.

Master Ting presents each Qigong movement with acute attention to detail, placing emphasis on correct posture, underlying principles, and complete mind -- body unity in movement and relaxation. All students, no matter the style or level of instruction, will come away with a better understanding of these movements which should, in turn, lead to a far deeper benefit and pleasure from their practice.

If you did not attend the first section of this workshop, you are still encouraged to come and learn, as Master Ting's emphasis with his students is always on posture and principles, uniting the body movement for a more refined and solid technique. There will be review of what has already been covered. Especially helpful for novice students to work on their fundamentals, this seminar is recommended for all students wishing to enhance their practice, solidify their skills and increase their understanding of the circulation of Qi in their bodies.

Qigong is the first stepping-stone to a more complete understanding of Tai Chi. For anyone attending the Introduction and Beginning classes in both Tai Chi and Qigong, this workshop will enhance your training and offer detailed insight into this essential art.

Due to the popularity of this workshop, pre-registration is essential and participation will only be confirmed with payment.

The cost of the Workshop is $95.00. Walk in participation on the day of the workshop (if available) will be $110.
