Saturday Morning Workshop - October 12, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Fundamentals of Tai Chi

Master Ting will focus on the fundamentals necessary for successful Tai Chi practice. The basic Tai Chi principles, correct posture, centering, and fluid movement will all be explored in-depth in this stimulating session. Tai Chi practitioners at all levels and studying all styles will find this workshop important to understanding and advancing their current level of practice.

Saturday Afternoon Workshop - October 12, 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Bagua Fundamentals

Bagua is classified as an internal martial art, along with Tai Chi. The primary feature of Bagua is a continuous, circular, walking technique that coordinates hands and feet together. While the motion is continuous, like a whirling tornado, the body should be balanced, flexible and stable. Master Ting will introduce participants to the fundamentals and training needed for practicing Bagua. This will be an opportunity for novices to experience Bagua and for experienced players to improve their understanding of Bagua.

Sunday Morning Workshop - October 13, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Wu Ji Jing Gong Qigong

Qigong is the stepping-stone to a more complete understanding of Tai Chi. The focus of this session will be on the Wu Ji Jing Gong Qigong form. Master Ting will present each Qigong movement with attention to detail, placing emphasis on correct posture, underlying principles, and the unity between the body and mind to achieve fluid movement and relaxation.

Cost: When registering by October 2: $300 for the entire weekend; OR $210 for Saturday; OR $120 for any single workshop. After October 2: $325 for the weekend; $230 for Saturday; $130 for any single workshop. Space is limited - so please register early.
